Back in the day, Beru Revue rode rough shod over the Tristate area with Bohemian tales of religion, booze, death and Dickensian social consciousness. After ten years of “reunion” shows, Beru is thrilled to embrace their theatrical evolution. For them, the future is a return to their roots. Think Alice Cooper meets Gilbert & Sullivan on steroids, with a good dose of silly fun. Beru Revue features the soaring guitar attack of the amazing Greg Davis and Mark Julian Teague. Original Dave’s bassist Jerry Getz and drummer Tommy Pinto hold the back court. Exciting new additions, John Ferenzik on keys, EJ Simpson on mandolin, and acoustic bass and the storied Nita Slater on vocals give Beru extra muscle and finesse. “What a joy it is to perform old and new songs in true Beruvian form,” adds band leader Bob Beru. “Shall we? Whoop! Whoop! Whoop!”
No Good Sister is a female vocal trio out from Philadelphia who have a deep affinity for tight three part harmonies. In the spring of 2017, No Good Sister released their debut full-length studio album, You Can Love Me, which appeared on Billboard’s Americana Chart. “It’s pure country that occasionally takes on an authoritatively sharp rock-and-roll edge, giving the collection a timeless vibrancy. Contrary to the group name, these sisters in song are very good indeed.” – Nick Cristiano of the Philadelphia Inquirer
