Formed in 2013 inside the famed Woodstock barn of Levon Helm, The Weight Band is led by Jim Weider, former member of The Band (15 years) and the Levon Helm Band. Weider was inspired by Helm to carry on the musical legacy of “The Woodstock Sound” originally created by this Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member group.
